My name is Angela Fitch. I graduated from Indiana University South Bend’s (IUSB) Social Work program with my Master of Social Work with concentrations in mental health and addictions. I also completed my undergraduate studies at IUSB where I obtained my Bachelor of Social Work.

I have experience working with children, adolescents, young adults, adults, and older adults in both individual and group settings. I have worked in the school corporation, the hospital, and the local Community Mental Health Center which has helped me have a broad range of skill and knowledge when it comes to mental health issues. Some of the approaches I use include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Trauma Informed Care, and Play Therapy techniques while also pulling in pieces of other clinical approaches in order to find what best fits the individual.

I take a person-centered approach when it comes to the therapeutic relationship as I believe each individual has a story that is unique and so the approach needs to match that uniqueness. Life can get messy and so I strive to create an atmosphere that is safe, non-judgmental, and open to exploration so that individuals can feel comfortable opening up and sharing their life with me. Seeking help takes strength so thank you for trusting me throughout this process!
