My name is Katherine Miller. I received my Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2021. I have experience working in various community mental health agencies with families involved in DCS and Probation services, as well as serving as the residential therapist for teens placed in a youth home.
I also have experience working in multiple private counseling agencies primarily with couples and individuals. Through these experiences, however, I have found that my passion lies in working with couples. I believe it is profoundly important for couples, married or not, to form a solid foundation in their relationship through effective communication and understanding. Families ultimately cannot thrive if the head of the family is not unified. My therapeutic approach involves gaining a full understanding from each partner about the issue at hand, and then teaching and providing you the tools to implement both in and out of sessions to work towards finding greater harmony in your relationship with one another. I believe in challenging my clients to take daily, consistent action to make the changes they want to see.
