My name is Regina Uribe and I received my Master's of Science in Education concentrating in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Indiana University South Bend. I have experience working with adolescents and adults of all ages presenting with, but not limited to, depression, anxiety, ADHD, traumatic incidents, life transitions and adjustments, relationship concerns, career concerns, school/college adjustments, and LGBTQIA+ related issues.
My therapeutic style has been defined as welcoming, understanding, and encouraging. I connect with my clients through openness, compassion, humor, and acceptance of differences in personal/cultural backgrounds. My therapeutic methods include cognitive behavioral therapy, relaxation exercises, emotionally focused therapy, and stress management.
I strive to create a safe space for you to explore and express your authentic self as we work together. I believe my clients are their own best tools as they persevere towards growth. I use a collaborative process involving individual experiences, feedback, insights, and therapeutic tools with the belief that these combined can propel you toward your unique goals and needs. Taking the first step is a powerful beginning! Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your journey towards personal growth. I look forward to getting to know more about you and your story.
